The Film
01
The Brand
French-born designer Elise Pioch Balzac started Maison Balzac in Sydney in 2012, pouring her first candles by hand before growing the label into glassware, carafes and objects built on collaboration, artisanship and playful elegance. The films needed to carry that same lightness: nothing too polished, nothing too serious.
02
Objects as Characters
Each ten-second spot gives one piece the lead. The dotted Pomponette carafe and flutes, the ribbed Josephine vases, Demi Volute candle holders and grape-shaped Le Muscatel candles each get their own clean backdrop, with hard light and long shadows letting colour and glass do the work.

Setting the Table
The fifteen-second edits pull back to the full table: candles lit, cocktails poured and new collections styled together. Vertical cuts of the carafes, Le Spritz and citrus pieces were made for Stories and Reels, framed so the product holds the centre of a phone screen.
04
Catherine Martin Collaboration
One film was made for the brand's capsule with Australian costume and production designer Catherine Martin: art deco glassware and candle holders in a pink and green palette, styled against palms and peacocks to match the collection's mood.
